Job Vacancy Survey

Twice a year the Center for Competitive Workforce Development (CCWD) conducts a survey of job vacancies among manufacturing cluster companies in the Pittsburgh and Southwest Pennsylvania region. The survey is used to monitor the workforce needs of the region's manufacturing industries on an ongoing basis.

The report describes what occupations are most in-demand by manufacturers and estimates the number of job vacancies in the region's manufacturing cluster. Additionally, the survey provides information on wages and benefits, education and experience requirements, and recruitment and advertising methods for job vacancies.
