Pittsburgh International Communities Project

Over the last decade, the U.S. has welcomed a record number of immigrants and these new Americans account for much of the population increase in many U.S. metropolitan areas. However, the Pittsburgh region has largely been passed over by the nation's rapidly growing new American population.

The Center for Competitive Workforce Development at Duquesne University makes the following report public with the purpose of assisting local civic and economic development organizations concerned with recruiting and supporting New Americans, and with the broader issue of the future of the economy of Southwest Pennsylvania.
