High School Project

All of the PRICE High School Interns were required work individually and as a team to recognize the "school to work" connection.

Project Purpose

  • Develop teamwork, communication and presentation skills.
  • Provide an opportunity for the interns to research and document learned skills and competencies.
  • Present findings to regional city/county officials, future employers, workforce and economic development professionals for the creation of HIGH SCHOOL INTERN OPPORTUNITES to promote AND encourage retention of regional talent.

Overarching Goal

  • To showcase the transferable skills of high school students.

The students will highlight and provide information on:

  • Internship responsibilities
  • Duties that contribute to the overall operation of the organization
  • Skills that are necessary to succeed in the corporate or business environment
  • Marketable/transferable skills gained while participating in the PRICE Internship experience
